Join us on Friday, Janurary 27th as the Fresno County Public Library Launches the new Digibus!

The Fresno County Public Library (FCPL) is having a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to launch its new Mobile Computer Classroom (The Digibus). The ceremony will take place at the West Fresno Branch Library, 188 E. California Ave, starting at 1:00 PM on the east end of the parking lot.

The Digibus will travel to designated areas throughout the rural communities of Fresno County. The purpose is to provide computers and online connectivity to those areas that normally do not have Internet service. Some of the services provided on the Digibus include teaching basic technology classes such as using email, Internet browsing, resume writing, and searching and applying for jobs online. Classes will be taught in English and Spanish.

“This is a wonderful collaboration of many partners coming together for the good of the community,” said Laurel Prysiazny, County Librarian.
